That Look

I wear my feelings on my sleeve

For all the world to see

No matter how hard I try

I can never seem to hide

The thoughts floating by

Passing through my mind

I’m an open book

Only need to take one look

But even deeper still

Is how I truly feel

And that I guard with my heart

And protect with all my might
